We love Moriyasu here, so this one stings to even write. 💔 But covering the Nation means covering all of it. In the wake of the World Cup exit, some voices, including a Guardian column, have floated Ange Postecoglou, the former Celtic and Tottenham boss who won the J.League with Yokohama F. Marinos back in 2019, as the kind of name Japan could look to next. To be clear: this is discourse and opinion, not a reported candidacy, and nothing is official.
